Tours Aboard "Mirage" Mothership:
We love tours in the Bahamas any
time of the year, offering warm waters, light breezes, and great
clarity for under water sightseeing. We're equipped with high end
fiberglass kayaks and gear; and all the snorkeling equipment is included.
This season (2007) we'll be in the Berry Islands, which are situated
right on the northeastern edge of the Great Bahama Bank, in the central part of
the country. They are a beautiful chain of mostly uninhabited islands,
with some pioneer history, geological uniqueness, and of course the beautiful
Bahamas water.
Between
the islands there are clear water, coral bottomed, tidal cuts, great for drift
snorkeling with the tide, and sometimes wave riding. In the Berrys we have
the choice of deep blue Atlantic paddling along scenic high limestone cliffs and
rock formations on the "outside", or to navigate the patch corals and
pure white sandbars on the shallower "inside" as we kayak our way along
the chain. Learning to "Snor-ak" is usually a highlight on any
of our Bahamas trips. We have cruised and paddled in the Bahamas for
nearly twenty years, and the beauty, the pristine tropical waters, and the
warmth of the out-island inhabitants has never diminished.

Using the Monday to Monday schedule affords our guests the ability to transfer through Nassau without having to stay overnight.
Guests arrive Monday afternoon and depart the following Monday morning.
Meals: start with Monday afternoon snack and dinner through the following Monday breakfast
Trips will consist of a maximum of 6 guests, with a combined 3 guest minimum.
